2. Purpose of the service

BKlayer is a booking platform and automation infrastructure for local businesses. It allows businesses to configure services, opening hours, availability, bookings, operational communications and integrations with channels such as WhatsApp, Google Calendar, public booking pages and artificial intelligence agents where available.

These terms govern access to and use of BKlayer by businesses, registered users and anyone using the public pages or features of the platform.

3. Accounts and access

  • The user must provide truthful, up-to-date and sufficient information to create and operate their account.
  • The business is responsible for keeping credentials confidential and controlling who accesses the dashboard.
  • BKlayer may suspend or limit access if it detects fraudulent use, abuse, security risk or breach of these terms.
  • Access to certain features may depend on the subscribed plan, account status or third-party integrations.

4. Business responsibility

The business using BKlayer is responsible for correctly configuring its services, prices, opening hours, availability, professionals, internal policies, contact details and messages addressed to end customers.

The business must inform its end customers about the use of BKlayer and integrated channels, including WhatsApp Business API and Google Calendar where applicable, and must comply with applicable legal, tax, consumer, privacy and communications obligations.

5. Bookings and end customers

  • BKlayer facilitates the creation, modification, cancellation, lookup and synchronization of bookings, but the final provision of the booked service is the responsibility of the business.
  • The business is responsible for serving the end customer, honoring confirmed bookings and managing operational incidents.
  • End customers must provide correct information so the booking can be managed.
  • BKlayer may display confirmations, reminders or automated communications, but these do not replace the business’s own obligations towards its customers.

6. Third-party integrations

BKlayer may integrate with third-party services such as WhatsApp Business Platform, Google Calendar, email providers, hosting providers, databases and artificial intelligence agents or models.

Use of these integrations may be subject to third-party terms, limits, availability, fees or policies. BKlayer does not control interruptions, technical changes, reviews, blocks or business decisions made by those providers.

For Google Calendar, BKlayer may create, update or delete events related to bookings when the business authorizes the integration. The business can disconnect this integration from the dashboard.

7. Plans, payments and promotions

BKlayer may offer free plans, paid plans, promotions, coupons, usage limits or special conditions for certain businesses. The conditions shown on the pricing page or during checkout will apply to each subscription.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, plans do not have a lock-in period and may be cancelled through the process available in the platform or by contacting BKlayer.

8. Acceptable use

The user agrees not to use BKlayer for unlawful, deceptive or abusive activities, spam, impersonation, infringement of third-party rights, unauthorized exploitation of data, technical attacks or any use that may harm the platform, other users or third parties.

BKlayer may limit, suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules or create legal, technical, reputational or security risk.

9. Service availability

BKlayer works to keep the service available and stable, but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Interruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical incidents, third-party provider outages, API changes, usage limits, configuration errors or causes outside BKlayer’s reasonable control.

Availability, booking and synchronization features are operational tools. The business must review its configuration and supervise its channels where necessary.

10. Privacy and data protection

Personal data processing is governed by the BKlayer Privacy Policy, available at https://www.bklayer.com/privacy.

When BKlayer processes end-customer data on behalf of a business, BKlayer will normally act as a data processor and the business as the data controller, without prejudice to processing activities where BKlayer acts as an independent controller according to the privacy policy.

11. Intellectual property

BKlayer, its brand, software, interfaces, design, documentation, code, structure and own content belong to BKlayer or its licensors. Use of the service does not grant intellectual property rights except those strictly necessary to use the platform in accordance with these terms.

The business retains ownership of its own data, content, brands, services and materials entered into BKlayer.

12. Suspension and termination

The user may stop using BKlayer or request account closure through the available channels. BKlayer may suspend or terminate access for breach, non-payment, security risk, abuse, legal requirement or use incompatible with the purpose of the service.

13. Changes, applicable law and contact

BKlayer may update these terms to reflect legal, technical, operational or commercial changes. The current version will be available at https://www.bklayer.com/terms.

These terms are governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer or user protection rules that may apply.
